A Gateway

Tried and loved his album Elaenia in 2015 but found the second track Silhouettes (I, II, III) to be such a beautiful mix of electronics that I knew with real playing and jazz rhythms and sounds that were pretty new to me.

When he released the 2021 Promises album with Pharoah Sanders it seemed like such a natural progression for his sound.

This was the gateway for me Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Sons of Kemet, Mahavishnu Orchestra and on and on....
