Big Shift

I used to be a metal kid. Well teenage metal. Grunge, Metallica, lots of stuff that I pretty much dropped when I first heard Orbital's Brown album when I was 15 or 16. I was always really picky about the vocals on some extreme music. This album by Sloath got me listening again. It sounds like part post rock, theres a definite hit of Rano Pano on 'The piece' and of course Sunn O)) who I still hadn't broken into at the time. There's blusier stuff on here but the opener was the sludge that reawakened my love of Kyuss and started the search for the slow and loud again. All word free!
