Duck Rock

It was about two years ago that I first heard this album. Id of course heard buffalo girls when I was little but it was just there in my memory as a novelty. It was Double Dutch that brought me to it. I'd come back again after reading the Trevor Horn biogrophy.

What an album. It sounds incredible still. From the serene opening of Obotala, there is so much varity and invention in 43 short minutes.

Love those two tracks but there is something so beautiful about Soweto!

Now I'm off to ingest some Mahotella Queens.
